BIO Protect is a state of the art process that is GUARANTEED in writing for three years.  BIO Protect will decontaminate you facility or property to provide a molecular bonded shell of protection that destroys theses potentially deadly pathogens that you are addressing.  By utilizing the advanced services of BIO Protect you can have that safe environment that you are seeking.  There is nothing else like this available.

Areas that should be addressed and treated by BIO Protect

Allow us to “Protect and Serve” your work environment.

Police Cruiser / Ambulances / School Buses / Transit Buses

These public vehicles harbor and are breading grounds for pathogens like MRSA, HIV, Hepatitis, Scabies, Staph, C-dif and much more.

BIO Protect does not stop there…….

Schools    Day Care Centers    Nursing Facilities    Locker Rooms    Fitness Centers    Public Restrooms

Sport Facilities for the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB

How does it work?

·         Once you notify BIO Protect of you need, our Engineer and our staff will tailor a plan of action that is suited for you particular need.

·         A team of decontaminators are assigned to your facility to immediately engage emergency services.  (unless you are taking proactive measures, emergency services may not be required)

·         Working in tandem with our decontamination team, our application team comes in behind and encompasses the building with a molecular bonded shell.  This step is applied electrostaticly to where any object being treated is encompassed entirely to destroy and kill pathogens.

·         This final step changes the surface on a molecular level of any object (except teflon), thus creating the molecular bonded shell of protection.  This shell has a piercing  ability that punctures and kills the pathogen as it is drawn to it.

If you have not heard of MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus) yet, you will very soon. MRSA (it is generally verbalized as mersa) used to be found only in hospitals. But as a result of 50 years of prescribing penicillin-related antibiotics for infections, the bacteria that cause staph infections have mutated and grown resistant to common antibiotics. Those resistant bacteria, MRSA, have presented themselves in the form of a new "super bug" that has moved quickly into the general public. And it's a super bug that's much more difficult to kill than previous staph bacteria.

The MRSA being discussed is referred to as community-acquired MRSA (CA-MRSA). There is also hospital-acquired MRSA (HA-MRSA), but the present focus is on the community-acquired form. Although a MRSA staph infection can lead to lost time for workers--and in severe cases, death--there are steps that can be taken to try to prevent staph infections in work environm

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that community-acquired MRSA is "most often present as a skin or soft tissue infection such as a boil or abscess." People with a minor infection commonly describe it as a "spider bite." The affected area can be swollen and red in color and have pus or other drainage present.

;

If not treated immediately, MRSA staph infections can continue their march all over the body and even infect the heart and lungs and cause pneumonia. If the lungs become infected, symptoms such as shortness of breath, chills, and fever could appear. Medical attention should be sought if there is any indication that a MRSA infection is present. Pay special attention to pus-filled infections.

ents. But first, let's take a look at this new super bug.

  • What are some of the symptoms of a MRSA staph infection?

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is making news as a dangerous, sometimes fatal disease for hospital patients, and in recent cases, students. MRSA is also a major source of illness acquired in nursing homes, yet few studies have looked at how to prevent it's spread among elderly residents, according to a new review.

"Much of the research effort around MRSA to date has focused primarily on hospitals," said Gordy Powell, Bio Protect Co-Owner."We now know that MRSA is ever present in our school system, gym's and everywhere else humans go".

MRSA spreads easily -- most commonly via the hands of health care workers -- and first-line antibiotics, like penicillin, are ineffective against the organism. Nursing home residents are particularly vulnerable because infection with the bug tends to increase with advancing age.

Close living proximity, multiple medications, pressure sores and catheters all make nursing homes ideal for breeding and spreading MRSA. However, nursing homes appear to have been short-changed in the medical literature on prevention, despite studies repeatedly reporting that residents are at higher risk.

"Many different ways of preventing the spread of MRSA have been studied, particularly in hospitals; however, we found no studies that looked at ways of preventing the spread of MRSA in nursing homes for older people, or in schools for younger people" said Mark Fagala with Bio Protect, LLC

Bio Protect, LLC was formed by Gordy Powell owner of A 1 Bio Clean out of Atlanta, GA and Mark Fagala, owner of Fagala Biohazard Specialists, LLC out of Charlotte, NC. Both Mark and Gordy are on the national registry listing with the American Bio Recovery Association and have been reacting and cleaning this "super bug" for years. After studying this for disinfection and decontamination reasons they found a much better solution. "Imagine having a Scotchguard type treatment for our schools, hospitals and nursing homes" Powell said. "We want to stop it before it even happens." With innovation, experience and years of knowledge, the two have the capability to not only clean facilities but render them unable for MRSA to live for up to 3 years.

Bio Protect, LLC has partnered with Environ that has a proven tract record of using there anti microbial coating that cover all area's like a bed of nails. When MRSA enter's an environment by what ever host, the microbes that come from the person via sneezing or coughing, the microbe lands on a treated surface applied by Environ and the membrane is punctured and cannot live.
